“Probably my Uncle Aidan.” Vinny said closing his eyes and remembering what he looked like. “He knew many things that I didn’t, or well, still don’t. When I was a kid, I was around him a lot and I wanted to be just like him. Nevertheless, he is gone now… Were you popular in school?”

“I would change how I broke my family.” Vinny said, looking away. “I’ll tell you if you want…” He was not much of a talker, or someone to talk about his past, but if Clarice wanted to know, Vinny would tell her. “Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?”

"I stay away from fights." Clarice said, "You can tell me if you want, I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to do, or talk about anything you don't want to talk about." She told him quietly as she put a hand on his cheek again. She was forced to talk about her father time after time and knew how hard it was.

“Well what broke my family apart was because I started a fight with my cousin, Torin.” Vinny said. “He was talking one day about how I was a bastard because my mom wasn’t married, and he called my mom a tramp. It pissed me off and I attacked him. He did not stand a chance against me because I was strong for a fourteen-year-old – even though Torin was sixteen. My Uncle Aidan, Torin’s father, broke up the fight but it was already too bad.” Vincentious sighed and continued, “Torin had to go to the hospital for quite a while and the entire Monroe family was angry at me and my mom. It soon worsened, the rage, and we had to move to put it in short… And now Mindy blames me for breaking up our family.” Vinny did not feel regret for what he did to Torn. He felt that Torin got what he deserved for acting and talking that way. For his family? It was better off leaving them anyway. "Speaking of family, Do you want a huge family when you get older?" He asked Clarice.

"I don't know, I guess I'll cross that bridge when it comes." Clarice smiled slightly, "Would you want to go back to Ireland?" The urge to kiss him grew stronger the longer she was with him.

“Yea, eventually, but it would be far away from the village my family lives in.” Vinny said sitting up and looking at Clarice, “I miss it and nearly everything there – Just a sec, you have an eyelash on your cheek.” He leaned toward Clarice and touched her cheek with his fingers, trying to get the eyelash off her face. Vinny went closer when it refused to move away.

When Vinny was closer to her face she let temptation take over and she kissed him. She thought his lips tasted so sweet, they were even better then Lucas's lips. She would let him break the kiss if he wanted to.

Vinny sat there for a second letting Clarice kiss him before he realized what happened. He did not move his head back right away. He liked this kiss. They were lip-locked for at least a minute before Vinny pulled away.

Clarice bit her lower lip as her cheeks turned a bright pink. She looked down at her legs acting shy all of a sudden, she glanced up at him wondering what he was thinking.

Vinny laughed quietly when Clarice looked up at him. He thought the kiss was sudden because it was unexpected, which made him laugh. He had that cute little grin on his face, but that soon faded when he heard a familiar voice.
“What do you two think you are doing?” Came the voice of Cathy, the nurse that was instructed to watch over Vincentious after he had a hypertension attack. “The both of you are in serious trouble sneaking away like that!” She sounded fuming as she came over, took one arm from each of them in her hands, and pulled them up off the floor.

"Well you took my babies without my permission!" Clarice said loudly annoyed that the moment was ruined. She tried to jerk her arm free but the womans grip just tightened. Clarice was tempted to kick the woman but she didn't.

“Well maybe I wouldn’t have if you were actually a good parent.” Cathy retorted. “But that doesn’t matter I’m taking you two to isolated rooms for wandering through Diana Ward like that.” They walked back toward the hallway and then by where the isolation rooms were. “I hope you two have learned your lessons.” She said putting Vinny in one and Clarice in another across the hall.
